Catching up

So this is my first post after moving my former blog, ~ lurking in the shadows ~ (on Blogger, here) to WordPress. I got the idea for it about a week ago, then like 7+ j-pop blogs got deleted from WP so I decided against it, but after Kawaiirrhea figured out what was causing the shutdowns (Pony Canyon downloads), I decided to just go ahead because I don’t have any Pony Canyon downloads on my blog (and as of now I don’t plan on ever having any). I like WordPress better than Blogger, so…
There’s also a new name. I kinda was getting tired of the old name, and since I’m moving this anyway, why not? xD Resonant Blue was the first thing that came to mind…named after Morning Musume’s upcoming single.

As my first post here, I should catch up with everything I’ve missed lately. I’m going to attempt to keep this blog up-to-date, update it much more, and write some posts that have some actual content besides just quick news posts. xD

(my g key’s broken, and while I’m copy-pasting the lowercase g it’s too much trouble to keep copy-pasting the uppercase and then having to go back to the lowercase…so that’s why I might have random fail moments in terms of capitalization)

So I’m gonna place a Yesasia order soon, and I’m still contemplating what to get in it…this is what I have at the moment:

I’m just waiting on ALONES to be available on Yesasia. =/ Hopefully it will be. I’ve had bad luck lately with Naruto/Bleach songs and Yesasia…Hero’s Come Back!! (the Shippuuden opening) wasn’t on there…Tsumasaki (the current Bleach ending) wasn’t on there…
I’m definitely getting the Naruto volumes. I’m on a mission to collect all the part 2 manga volumes…xD I already have 32, and 34-37. They’re so cheap compared to the English volumes…
I’m also definitely pre-ordering Onna ni Sachi Are. It’s kinda hard to decide which limited edition to get since I know nothing about the song yet (it depends on what’s on the DVD that comes with limited edition A), but since LE A is more expensive, I figure B is probably a better choice. If the PV comes out before I place the order and I like the song a lot (plus it depends what type of alternate PV it is- I probably won’t get it if it’s just a close-up version, but if it’s a dance version or something I might want it), maybe I’ll go with A.
Now, the rest of the order is what I’m not sure about…
I’ve always wanted some sort of H!P photobook. I was looking at my collection of photobook scans, and I looked up a few on Yesasia- but most photobooks are like $35, or even more. So, being the cheap person that I am, I looked for one that was cheaper. :D There were a few $20 photobooks (I think there was a Yossi one, and a W one, maybe more), and then I found the Summer 2005 Selection Collection. It’s only $12. :D I have the concert DVD (ok, it’s a burned DVD, but whatever), and I liked it a lot…so I think I’m gonna get it. Not too sure, though…
I don’t usually buy overseas versions of anything. They’re cheaper, but it just doesn’t seem like the actual thing to me. xD However…when it comes to limited editions that are only still available in overseas versions…:D
I’ll probably get the Egao YES Nude limited edition. It’s the DVD edition, but it’s cheap! It’s $11.75- the Japan version of the REGULAR edition is $11.25. I want the single to continue with my Momusu collection, and if I can get a limited edition for only 50 cents more than the regular edition, why would I pass down the offer? xD
And the Koda Kumi singles…WHY the hell are they still available?? xDDD These were released (limited edition ONLY, so after it sells out, it’s gone for good) over a year ago, in her 12 singles thing. I remember a year ago, I jumped at the chance to grab the Korean version of Birthday Eve (my favorite at the time), cause I thought it wouldn’t last a month before selling out- considering most of the Japan versions were sold out before they were even released. But if I had the money (and didn’t buy anything else), I could complete my collection right now by buying overseas versions of all the singles. I don’t think there was one single that was completely sold out in all versions…maybe Birthday Eve was; I didn’t check that since I already had it.
So, anyway, they’re also pretty cheap, so…I limited myself to three, and I might end up bringing it down to two. I already own my two favorites, Birthday Eve and No Regret, so I took a look through for some of the other ones I really liked. I ended up narrowing it down to D.D.D, WIND, and Shake It Up. But these are probably the most expendable things on this list…if I have to cut it down because it’s too expensive, these will probably be the first things to go.
I’m a sucker for limited ANYTHING. xD;; For some reason, the whole “there are only _______ copies in the world and you have one of them” concept appeals to me a LOT.

If anyone (I dunno, do I even have readers? I guess I must, cause I’ve had a few posts posted on International Wota, but I have yet to have one comment on this blog. xD) has any suggestions or any ideas or ANYTHING…comment.

Now for the ‘other random thoughts’.
Fujimoto Miki’s apparently been taken off of Young Town Doyoubi, and replaced by Michishige Sayumi. I don’t listen to this show, but…
I hope this doesn’t mean she’ll be like Yaguchi Mari and not do much of anything for a while after this. =/ I hated (and to be honest, I still don’t like this) that she wasn’t doing too much, considering she’s my favorite H!P member. I still say she needs to start doing more music stuff! D: Like, release something solo, or go with a group, or SOMETHING!
The difference between Miki and Mari, though, is that Mari only had Momusu…Miki still has GAM, and the solo career she put on hold when she joined Momusu. I’m expecting her to do something with either (or both) relatively soon…she’s already in the GAM tour at the moment. I know for a while, Mari only did MCing at H!P tours- I don’t know if she still does that or if she’s started performing again. Haven’t quite paid too much attention to recent tours- I was going to get the H!P winter 10th Anniversary boxed set, but it sold out a few days ago before I had the chance to place the order. =/

In other news, Niigaki Risa is replacing Tsuji Nozomi (in case anyone’s been totally oblivious, Nono got pregnant and so she’s taking a break from singing and stuff) as the seiyuu of Atena in the anime Robby to Kerobby. I kinda want to see this anime now. xD Too bad I can’t find subs anywhere, or even raws. =/

This blog is turning into a full-on H!P blog (with some other j-music on the side), even though I originally meant it to be a bit of everything. xDD I didn’t think I could focus enough on H!P to write a blog like this…guess I’ve proved myself wrong. xD With Hello! Project, there’s soo much to write about~ It’s one of the reasons why I loove H!P, besides the fact that I love this type of music. It’s never boring, and you never have a long period of time where nothing happens, like you do with some other artists~
But I’m gonna try to put together a Naruto post tomorrow or Sunday…about the latest Shippuuden episode, the latest chapter (and how Karin actually looks good with red hair- as long as it’s not Kishimoto doing the coloring), possibly tomorrow night’s dub episode, and maybe (if I get through it this weekend) the 3rd uncut boxed set.

So I realized yesterday after making that last blog post that I had said in the one before that that the next one wouldn’t be about H!P.
Oops.
But c’mon, it was kinda important…and I was basically doing a rushed post because I didn’t have that much time before I had to leave. I mean, imagine my surprise when I’m at school like a half-hour early, pulling out my computer like usual, checking International Wota on a random whim, and then- BOOM “[News] Fujimoto Miki Leaves Morning Musume”. I think I might have freaked out more than I did when I found out Nono was pregnant…
And then there were two girls that thought I was freaking out about my appearance (cause it was graduation day, and it’s like a big formal event even if you’re not the one graduating), and they tried to pull me into the bathroom…and I’m just like “no. fuck off. Miki just left Momusu. T__T” Gotta learn how to keep calm on the outside and just freak out inwardly.

And then yesterday afternoon, International Wota linked my post in “[Blogs] Still More Mikitty Reactions”, which made me UBER HAPPY. <333 Especially because I thought the only person reading this was lotus from NF. xD

So anyway…Risa’s going to be sub-leader, as I thought. Works for me. <3 And Takitty as leader of course. Hopefully she won’t lose the position after less than a month like Miki did…^^;;;
I might make a Kanashimi Twilight Miki tribute avi/sig set for my NF account like I did for Yossi…maybe after exams. Though I was planning on keeping the Yossi set until their next PV…

I’m just glad that Miki has GAM, and a solo career too. She’ll still be singing~ <33

On another note, the members of Kira*Pika (well, Kira☆Pika, but Kira*Pika’s so much easier to type. xD) have been confirmed! It’s not Kusumi Koharu and Mitsui Aika like I previously thought, but Koharu and Hagiwara Mai (from C-ute)!

Hagiwara Mai? Er…who? I really don’t know anything about C-ute. I mean, I can name almost every single other member of the other groups in H!P (I can’t do most of Berryz, either…), but I don’t know ANYTHING about C-ute. I mean, sorry to say, but the first time I heard a song of theirs was a few days ago when I was in the NF Blender and someone (NudeShroom maybe?) posted a “loli music video”, and when I clicked it it was Ooki na Ai de Motenashite…(which, by the way, was uber-catchy.) So naturally, this announcement surprised me and confused me, cause I had no idea who this “Hagiwara Mai” was. xD;;;
So I did what any other clueless person would do. I looked her up on ThePPN Wiki. First thing that pops out at me. Holy shit, she’s only 11. O_O And she was SIX when she first joined H!P as one of the Hello! Project Kids back in 2002…

Six…wow. I wouldn’t have been able to do anything like that when I was six. O_o
I mean, they didn’t actually do anything notable until 2004, and that was just the H!P All Stars with all 46 members of H!P…but still, that’s really young.
Actually, no, she was one of the four H!P Kids that were in the Minimoni movie back in 2003…I remember that. That was an uber-amazing movie. xD
So now I know a bit more about Mai…she’s young and cute. xD
I’m still kinda surprised about Koharu. She has Morning Musume, her solo career, that anime she’s in, Momusu Tanjou 10nen…and now Kira*Pika, too. I mean, that’s a lot of stuff to handle…well, ganbatte, Koharu-san~ xD
I can’t wait to hear more about this new group~

Oh shit, we have a tornado warning right now. And I hate to admit it, but I’m like uber scared and on-edge right now cause there’s a ton of thunder and lightning. T______T My mom’s telling me to shut down my desktop computer in case there’s a power surge, but I’m seeding stuff, and Jpopsuki’s down, and so if I want the stuff I’m seeding to count, I have to leave Azureus open until Jpopsuki goes back up again…it’s been down all day, which seriously pisses me off. I can only hope it’s back up by tonight so I can get this week’s CDTV…last time, it was down for like a week and I got uber pissed cause I didn’t get the CDTV episode until like Thursday. >< And this week should be that special section where they show all the upcoming releases for this month, and I need to see if Aqua Timez’s ALONES is being released this month~ I doubt it, but…raaaawrrrr, that single needs to come out soon, I need to hear the full version~

So since I haven’t made a non-H!P post in a while, I might as well add some Naruto stuff in here. :D
Lolz, I can’t believe the Temari fanservice in Shippuuden 16. When I first heard about it (I didn’t watch the raw until yesterday (yes, I watched the raw even though the sub was out- it’s tradition) cause I forgot on Thursday, and so I kept seeing pictures throughout NF) I thought they actually put it in canon. XDDDD Which would make NOOOOO SENSE AT ALL…I was speculating about where they put it in and everything…and then it turned out to be the little ending clip that always has nothing to do with canon plot at all. :D I guess Naruto was just giving Temari and Kankurou a little tour of the hot springs?

As for the rest of the episode, I didn’t understand a lot of it. xDD As the series goes on, I’m understanding less and less with each episode…which makes no sense cause I’m learning more and more Japanese. xDDD; Or maybe it’s just that I don’t remember most of the stuff from this arc…
Well, either way…I need to actually start watching the sub again. xDD;

This week started off with a colored two-page spread cover.

Obviously Sasuke’s same as normal. Suigetsu’s colors actually look pretty good. Not what we previously thought, but they’re still good. Juugo…well, I think most people didn’t expect that his hair was orange…but heyy, it’s not uber-bad.

Katie (my stepsister) says that the main reason it looks really bad is because it clashes with her purple jacket. I still say we should go with the black hair, tan jacket thing…who colored that? Amaretti? I guess it’s what I’m used to since I saw it first…xD;; I mean, I know I’m not using the red and purple colors in my fanfiction. >< I’m sticking with the black and tan…

BUT ANYWAY.

I still have some ideas about stuff to post, but this post is long enough already…not to mention I’ve already spent two hours writing this. xDD;; Maybe later….

Mikitty resigning from Morning Musume?! T_______T

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god…
Fujimoto Miki, the current leader of Morning Musume (who became leader less than a month ago), is resigning from Momusu due to the boyfriend scandal!

I…wow. Just…wow. I mean, she’s one of the lead singers…well, they don’t really say that, but it’s kinda obvious, especially in a song like Kanashimi Twilight.
I can’t believe it…this is JUST like what happened with Yaguchi Mari back in April 2005! Goes out with a boyfriend, Friday takes pictures and publishes them in the magazine, she resigns from the leader position…
I just can’t believe this. I still don’t agree with Morning Musume’s position on boyfriends…I mean, seriously. She’s in her 20’s. Whyyy can’t she have a boyfriend? Makes me wonder if that policy is in position for the rest of H!P. I mean, Nakazawa Yuko’s in her 30’s, isn’t she? xD;

Now, the good thing is that she’s not gone forever. She’s leaving Morning Musume (damn! what’ll happen to their next single?), but she still wants to continue her solo career. No mention of GAM, from what I’ve heard…I haven’t looked at the article yet. Not enough time…I have to head over to graduation in like 10 minutes. xD;;

So, who’s gonna be the new sub-leader? Takitty’s going to be leader, considering she was sub-leader under Mikitty. Maybe Risa? She’s the only other 5th-gen left…and I don’t think a 6th-gen will be the sub-leader when Risa’s still in the group…and definitely not the 7th-gen Koharu or the 8th-gen Aika…

I’m gonna keep thinking about this during graduation and everything (lol, I’m not the one graduating, don’t worry), and I’ll post again with some more thoughts on this. Hopefully it’ll be a bit more than just random ramblings…
I’m also thinking about what’s gonna happen with the single coming out soon. When this happened to Mari, they still released Osaka Koi no Uta…but that came out like a week or two after she resigned. There’s still over a month before this single…will they rerecord like what happened with Gyaruru when Nono left? (though that’s TNX, so I probably shouldn’t compare with this) I don’t know if it’s already recorded in the first place, though, so…
I’m thinking she’s not going to be in this next single, because there’s still a while before it’s going to be released…

I came back today from Cape Cod only to find…Mikitty’s been Friday’d??

So Fujimoto Miki was caught with a guy, huh…I really don’t like that magazine. xD I mean, it was the reason Yaguchi Mari, my all-time favorite Momusu member, resigned from Momusu. And then it was what originally brought up the whole Aibon scandal. And I know there are others, too, but I don’t know them off the top of my head.
I still don’t see what the big deal is with boyfriends in Momusu. She has a boyfriend, so what? I mean, unless she gets pregnant or something (like Nono), I don’t see the problem here. I can understand them trying to keep the younger H!P members away from boyfriends, but how old’s Miki? 22? What’s wrong with having a boyfriend?
At the moment, I’m just hoping she gets to stay in Momusu…she just became the leader a few weeks ago, too…

And now onto some other totally unrelated stuff. :D
Cape Cod was really boring. I wasted half my 3-day weekend in an old-fashioned crappy cottage with no internet, no TV, and the first night there wasn’t even any running water. DDDDD: There were only two good things about it. 1) My mom got me two new bathing suits, so now I actually have comfortable suits. :D The ones I used before were like 5 years old and just barely fit, but I really didn’t want to go out and shop. >>; 2) I got through 20 Prince of Tennis episodes. xDDDDD So now I’m on episode 40. I’m still waiting for that Kirihara guy to come in. He’s voiced by Morikubo Shoutaro, Shikamaru’s seiyuu. xD Which is why I really really really can’t wait to see him~ He appeared in volume 3 of the manga, and he should have appeared within the first 15 episodes of the anime, but I guess they rearranged the order of events a bit. And I can’t figure out when that scene is shown in the anime. D: All I can do is just keep watching~

I might make another post later on today or tomorrow, cause I had other things I was going to post here, but I totally forgot what they were. >>;;;;
